Background

PADEL SHED (“the Club”)

Club Rules and What You Need to Know

Appropriate rules are displayed within the Club.

Opening Hours

Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 11:00pm
Weekends: 7:00am – 10:00pm

Membership Definitions

Adult

Applicable to individuals aged 18+, or 16–17 if a parent or guardian pays the subscription and takes responsibility for behaviour.

Members aged 16–17 require parental permission and must sign a Behavioural Code of Conduct.

A valid ID must be provided as proof of age.

The parent/guardian must ensure fees are paid in line with Direct Debit terms.

Junior (13–15 years)

Must have at least one parent or guardian as an active adult member.

Must be supervised at all times unless participating in a children’s activity session.

Child (5–12 years)

Same supervision and membership requirements as Juniors.

Infant (0–4 years)

Access Times for Members Under 16

Access permitted until 9:00pm (last entry 8:00pm).

After 6:00pm, children (including Juniors) may only enter if accompanied by an adult member, who must leave by 8:00pm.

Membership Categories

Premium Membership

Full use of all facilities during opening hours, plus:

Premium court rates

14-day advance booking privileges

Casual Membership

Full use of facilities with:

Standard court booking rates

7-day advance booking privileges

All members must register via the Padel Shed app before visiting the club.

Membership Rules

No pets allowed (guide dogs excepted).

No outside food or drink.

No crockery or glass permitted.

No photography without Club Manager approval.

Padel Shed may use photographs or video for promotional purposes (consent forms may be required).

Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave.

Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

Treat staff, members, and equipment with respect.

Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn.

Use lockers for personal items.

Lost property is kept for 14 days before donation; hygiene items are disposed of immediately.

Members and guests use the Club at their own risk. Always consult a doctor if unsure about your physical readiness for exercise.

The Club reserves the right to close or restrict facilities for maintenance, tournaments, or events.
Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited except in designated areas.
The Club may refuse entry to anyone at its discretion.

Membership Terms

Principle Terms

This agreement begins once you accept it online or via phone.

Membership starts immediately, but you have 14 days to cancel for any reason.

Cancellations must be emailed; refunds are pro-rata if you have used the service.

1. Joining Fee & Monthly Subscription Fee

Joining and monthly fees for Premium Membership are due immediately and non-refundable (unless due to Club negligence).

Payments must continue regardless of attendance unless cancelled per these terms.

Early Premium Members (pre-opening) pay one month’s deposit; billing begins 30 days after opening.

Court fees vary by membership type.

Members must keep personal details up to date.

2. Payment Failure

Failed payments will be retried up to three times.

Membership privileges will be suspended after three failed attempts.

3. Automatic Renewal

After the minimum 3-month term, memberships renew monthly.

Renewal rates may change with 30 days’ written notice.

Any free period pauses payments temporarily.

4. Cancelling Automatic Renewal

You can cancel after 3 months by emailing [email protected] with 30 days’ notice.

Keep the automated confirmation as proof.

5. Minimum Membership Term

Minimum term: 3 months.

After this, cancellation requires 30 days’ notice.

Court Bookings

Payment Authorisation and Card Storage

Temporary holds may be placed on cards for transactions.

You authorise Padel Shed and its providers to securely store your card details for:

Current and future payments

Outstanding balances

Refunds and adjustments

All card data complies with PCI DSS, UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Booking for Non-Members

Members may book for up to 3 non-members.

Each non-member must register in the app for payment and management purposes.

Non-Member Bookings

Non-members may book courts after registering on the app.

Advance booking limit: 7 days.

Cancellations

Cancel anytime in the app’s My Bookings section.

Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance receive credit (no monetary refunds).

Cancellations within 24 hours may forfeit credit.

All bookings must be made through the official app.

Enforcement and Termination

Padel Shed may:

Enforce all terms strictly at any time.

Transfer this agreement to a third party without affecting your rights.

Terminate membership immediately for rule breaches or misconduct (e.g., theft).

Disputes must be raised in the UK under UK law.
If any clause is deemed invalid, the remaining terms still apply.

Cancellation Policy

Membership may be cancelled for the following verified reasons:

Relocation: Permanent move over 20 miles away (proof required).

Long-term illness or injury (3+ months): Proof from a medical professional.

Redundancy: Proof from employer.

Pregnancy: Written proof required.

Breach by the Club: Failure to deliver reasonable service standards.

Freezing Policy

Memberships may be frozen for temporary illness or injury (proof required).
A small monthly freeze fee applies.
Frozen months extend your contract by the same period.
No backdated freezes allowed.
Frozen members may visit socially but cannot play.

Equipment

Padel Shed property must not be removed from the premises.
Damage or theft may result in liability or prosecution.

Warm-Up & Recovery Area

Read equipment guidance before use.

Users must be 16+.

Wipe down equipment and mats after use.

Be respectful and report any damage.

Ask staff for assistance if unsure.

Coaching

All coaching must be arranged through Padel Shed Limited and its qualified coaches.

No external coaching without written permission from the Club Manager.

Behaviour & Dress Code

No foul or abusive language or threatening behaviour.

Violent or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Dress appropriately; non-marking shoes preferred.

Towels are available for hire at reception.

Complaints should be submitted in writing or via feedback systems.

Changing Rooms

Children aged 7+ must use same-sex or family changing areas.

Valuables are left at your own risk.

Dispose of litter responsibly.

Report suspicious activity immediately.

Family Changing

For families with children only.

Adults without children must use same-sex changing rooms.

Lockers

For temporary use only.

Lockers may be checked for safety reasons.

Items left overnight will be removed and stored as lost property.

Liability

Padel Shed accepts no liability for:

Personal injury (except where caused by negligence).

Lost or stolen property.

Damage to vehicles or belongings on-site.

Report any accidents immediately to the Duty Manager.

Car Parking

Parking is for members, visitors, and staff while on-site only.

No overnight or unauthorised parking.

The Club is not responsible for theft or damage.

Fire Exits

Fire exits must only be used in emergencies. They are alarmed.

Changes to This Agreement

Padel Shed may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updates will be posted on the website or communicated directly.
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of new terms.
